A Note from the editor!

As you can see Adolph and Barbara have really been working hard to get all this put together for us. Now that the planning is about done all they have to do is sit back and relax. Not!… Don’t we wish it were all that simple. Those of you that have been involved in sponsoring a reunion know that the work is far from over. However, we could all make it a little easier on them by getting our hotel reservations made and our registration to them ASAP.

We have had very good response from the crew with a few of their sea stories but as you can imagine, we are always in need of more. I don’t know about you but I know that I always like to hear what happened before and after my time aboard. It never ceases to amaze me how many places she went and miles the Old Girl traveled in her lifetime. So… get busy guys and jot down all those stories you talk about, and send them in.

One more thing. Please take a look at the last line of your mailing label. It should read (W), (11), (05) or greater. Otherwise, according to my record your dues are not current. Remember dues are the only source of income we have and every cent is used for the association’s business.
